Yorkshire born Steven Frayne’s breakthrough came in 2006 when making a documentary called Estate of Mind on Channel 4 (as part of the broadcaster’s Comedy Labs season).
In 2011 his dream of a TV series became a reality when the first series of Dynamo: Magician Impossible aired to record rating viewers.
Awards have come thick and fast ever since: in fact, Magician Impossible is the most celebrated magic show on TV.
Dynamo’s autobiography, Nothing Is Impossible, was released by Random House and reached number six in the Sunday Times non-fiction chart.

Following his last one day international appearance in 2006, Darren became a very familiar face on television by winning BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Darren is now the presenter of the drive time radio show on TalkSPORT, where he has earned many media awards.
